10 Years!!!
Today is our 10 year anniversary. Can you believe it...man, time goes by so fast. Today when Devan came home he surprised with me gorgeous long stem roses and a big bag of chocolate covered cinnamon bears (my favorite!). We are a tad limited on what places we can go and what activities we can do this year for our anniversary. So we ended up go out for a nice dinner together and then we rented a redbox.
I can easily and honestly say that our relationship just keeps getting better and better. Over the last 10 years we have had to deal with some pretty sad, tragic and difficult times. But on the flip side, we have been able to make so many wonderful memories that I couldn't even begin to count them all. As we get ready for the next phase in our lives I am so glad I have Devan beside me. I couldn't have asked for a better eternal companion.
Flash back time...

Another Milestone Met
There is something reassuring to finally hit 30 weeks pregnant. I have nothing official from any doctor that says being 30 weeks pregnant is better than 29...it just makes me feel better. Alright, let's get the pictures going before I start rattling off stats and thoughts.
Here we are at 29 weeks (yes, I took a photo last week with the intention to blog but didn't.)
We took this one today...30 weeks!!!!
Stats...we had an ultra sound done last week. Boy and girl are measuring almost the exact same (which is super important.) One came in a 1257 grams and the other was 1268 grams. Basically, they both weighed 2 pounds 12 ounces. My first thought was "wow, they still so little." Then my second thought was "wait, I'm only 29 weeks pregnant and already have 5 1/2 pounds of pure baby in me already." Let's just say my mind was blown. I go in for my last heart beat listen appointment next week. Then after that we start our weekly doctor visits and twice a week non-stress tests.
I can't believe how close we are getting to seeing our little angels. I only have 5 weeks of work left at the most (assuming I can make it to my 35 week stopping point.) The longest we'll have to wait to have these babies is only 8 weeks. I'm so excited!!! I'm also absolutely terrified.....but excited none the less.
