About once every two or three weeks Devan and I have "Sushi Night." I call a little place called Tokyo here in Lehi right as I'm leaving work then swing by and get it on my drive home. They have several different rolls that are 1/2 off Monday-Thursday 4-9:00pm. Whenever I go in there to pick up my order the place is empty. The problem with that is this...I really don't want the place to shut down. The sushi is great and the price is wonderful! After I get home we make some rice have a little date night. I need more people to eat there!!! Please don't let Tokyo shut down!!!
On a side note, I got a sewing machine. And here is the real kicker...I actually knew how to use it.
Today little Vera Reeves joined this bright, loud and cold world. She weighed 5 lbs 5 oz and was 17 inches long. One other thing...she is pretty dang cute :) Zeb and Megan are going to be great parents!!!
Today we got back from our wood cutting camping trip. Garald, Sam, Devan, Price and myself left yesterday afternoon and headed up to Kamas to cut some firewood and do a little camping. We worked hard and got a lot done in a short amount of time. Everything was going great...until a thunderstorm decided to roll on in and park directly above us. It rained, thundered and lightninged for about 2 hours. A couple hit EXTREMELY close. I'm not a big fan of thunder and lighting, but put me in a tent with the ground shaking from the thunder and I'm officially freaked out. Oh well...what can you do.
On Saturday, July 3rd, Devan, Sam, Massiel, Betty and myself went to the "Herriman Ocean." We enjoyed the water, the beach, the company.
And then just 24 short hours later..
I would like you all to meet Sophie Elizabeth Gregory. She was born on the 4th of July. Weighed 5 lb 14 oz and was 19 inches long. She has a full head of gorgeous hair and takes my breath away with her beautiful face. I was given the most amazing gift...I got to watch her birth. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed in my entire life!!! Here are some pictures of my new niece.
